The different between Bowling for Columbine and The Things They Carried is that, Bowling for Columbine shows us how weapons such as guns have been used and given to people in Colorado like if they were really safe.The Things They Carried is more about a soldier in war.

Bowling for Columbineis a documentary film in Colorado. An old man shows us the the living of Colorado citizens with weapons. He goes and does some research on the banks. He finds out that if you open an account and you receive a free weapon/gun. Then he goes ahead and opens an account and he gets a rifle. The unbelievable thing is that when he receives the gun he goes ahead and tries it out inside the bank and nothing said anything or did anything about it. This man also discuss about children. How they go ahead and do shoot-outs at their schools and also how this kids shoot at innocent people for no reason. For example a boy shoot a black student just because he was black.
